Batini C, Hallast P, Vågene Å, Zadik D, Eriksen HA, Pamjav H, Sajantila A, Wetton JH, Jobling MA. 2017. Population resequencing of European mitochondrial genomes highlights sex-bias in Bronze Age demographic expansions. Sci Rep 7: 12086.

In this work we applied a NGS approach to study the mitochondrial DNA variation among 17 European and Middle Eastern populations. This is a complementary paper to our work published in 2015 in Nature Communications in which we have tested, and confirmed, our hypothesis of sex-biased behaviours in European populations during the Bronze Age.
