Submission of Thesis for Examination

You must be registered on the date that you submit your thesis for examination and you must submit within your maximum registration period unless you have been granted an extension of registration.

The responsibility for deciding whether to submit your thesis for examination rests with you and your decision should take account of the opinion of your supervisory team. Please note however that your supervisory team’s opinion is advisory only, and an opinion that the thesis is ready for submission must not be taken as a guarantee that a degree will be awarded. The decision to award a degree rests wholly with the examining team.

Research students may like to consult the Adobe Acrobat (PDF) Thesis Submission and Examination Guidelines.
