Annual Re-Registration

Annual re-registration photoPostgraduate researchers need to re-register annually to confirm their place on their course. You also need to register to keep access to University services and facilities such as the University Library and your University IT account.

Re-registration is a quick and easy process that can be completed from any computer, anywhere in the world.

Follow these steps to complete your annual re-registration:

Check Your Fees

Full- and Part-Time Degrees: refer to the campus based postgraduate fees pages

Distance Learning Degrees: refer to your "call for payment" notice from the University Cashiers

Re-Register Online 

To re-register please log into the My Student Record page using your university username and password https://srs.le.ac.uk

When you are logged in, please select the 'Registration' tab at the top of the page. This will take you to the online re-registration pages.

VISA Checkpoint (non-EU students only).  All full-time returning international (non-EU) students must complete a Visa Checkpoint as part of the re-registration process.  It is important that you complete a Visa Checkpoint as soon as possible so you can continue your studies.  To complete a Visa Checkpoint you must provide evidence that you have a valid visa to study at the University of Leicester.   You will need to visit the Student Services Centre, ground floor, Charles Wilson Building.  The Student Services Centre is open Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm.   Please bring your current passport and visa (originals not copies) and your student ID card.
