Biography

I have worked with remote sensing applied to ecological and environmental studies since my undergraduate studies. Currently I am mainly interested in the analysis and understanding of the dynamics and distribution of the forest structure in tropical areas as well as in estimating this structure using RADAR information and environmental predictive variables based on topographic information such as SRTM. Since 2016 I am an Associate Researcher (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellow) at the Centre for Landscape and Climate Research at the University of Leicester under the supervision of Professor Heiko Balzter.
