Interested in postgraduate study? Please come along to the Department of Geography Postgraduate Open Event for an opportunity to discuss the range of exciting options in Geography.

Wednesday 30th May, Student Study Area (F33), 2.00-4.00pm
Department of Geography, Bennett Building

We have well established programmes with good career opportunities in:

  • MSc GIS
  • MSc GIS and Human Geography
  • MSc Geospatial Intelligence
  • MSc Environmental Informatics
  • MSc Sustainable Management of Natural Resources
  • MSc Global Environmental Change

We also have a wide range of opportunities for MRes and PhD study and are currently recruiting for 2012-2013 intake across all programmes.  Those interested in MRes study are particularly encouraged to come along to discuss these topics and/or their own research ideas.

During the afternoon we will have a short presentation about our Geography postgraduate programmes at 2.30pm, with lots of opportunities for questions and informal discussion. Whether you definitely plan to undertake postgraduate study, or are just exploring a range of post degree study and career options at this stage, we look forward to seeing you there.

Any queries? Please contact Caroline Upton.

If you definitely plan to attend please notify Gary Hancox.  Also, if you wish to discuss a specific MRes topic with a particular member of staff, please let us know in advance through Gary.’
