New blog launched on environmental geographies

Our second year undergraduate human geography students have been busy publishing their work as a blog

Working in small groups they are examining contemporary issues around environmental justice. The students have chosen the focus of their work and meet weekly to discuss their findings. They then each write about a topic and post it online. Comments are invited to respond to their postings and it is hoped that the blogs will encourage debate around important environmental justice issues. The students are assessed on their best four blogs, but the main aim of the task is to understand how geography enables us to better understand human-environment relations.

Please visit the site, which is rapidly growing, to see the broader variety of examples and issues which the students are dealing with.
