More funding for the SPLINT CETL - SPLINTer

The SPLINT GIS team - led by Dr Nick Tate and Dr Claire Jarvis - have been further successful in securing extra funding (£245,000) from HEFCE. The money will be used in part to fund an equipment pool of mobile geospatial technology. Posted 21st February 2006.

New exciting degree programme launched by the department

MSc GIS receives accreditation and four scholarships from NERC

The Department is pleased to announce that its MSc GIS programme has received recognition and allocation of studentships from NERC. The course has been allocated the largest number of NERC studentships of any GIS course in the United Kingdom. Posted 9th January 2006.
