Geography wins £3.9 million to develop a Centre for Excellence in postgraduate teaching and learning

The GIS team within the department has been awarded £3.9 million for upgrade of laboratories and developments in GI curriculum.

This exciting development, is run by the University of Leicester in consortium with the University of Nottingham and UCL. It will create a new CETL (Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning), known as 'SPLINT'. See the press release for details.
