Thesis Title: Nylon Bristles

Suzi Shimwell's research interests lie in twentieth-century British and American free verse poetry. She is currently compiling her own collection of poems and alongside it an exegesis that examines the role of poetic closure, ekphrasis, objects and quotidian speech within her work.
