Announcing a new School of Arts Seminar Series, 'Interdisciplinary Connections: Explorations in Research Methods'

Posted by jcm22 at Jan 30, 2018 03:15 PM |
A collection of short, one-hour lunchtime sessions exploring interdisciplinary possibilities.

Chaired by Professor Ian Hutchby, each seminar takes a theme or strand of work from across the School's disciplinary range, and explores its interdisciplinary possibilities. The aim of the series is to develop a 'conversation' across the School about research methods, research ideas, and an inclusive and informed research culture.

Running in 2017/18 Semester 2, and 2018/19 Semester 1, the series will take place fortnightly on Wednesdays, 12-1pm (except where noted) - no booking required. All staff, research fellows, and postgraduate students (taught and research) are welcome, and we hope to have some stimulating discussions about the wide range of research currently being undertaken in the School of Arts.
