Personal details

Dr. Gaojie Chen obtained the B. Eng. Degree in electrical information engineering and the B.Ec. Degree in international economics and trade from Northwest University, China, in 2006, and the M.Sc. (Hons.) and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from Loughborough University, U.K., in 2008 and 2012, respectively. From 2008 to 2009, he was a Software Engineering with DTmobile, Beijing, China, and a Research Associate with the School of Electronic, Electrical and Systems Engineering, Loughborough University, from 2012 to 2013. Then he was a Research Fellow with the 5GIC, University of Surrey, U.K., from 2014 to 2015. Then he was a Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, U.K., from 2015 to 2018. He is currently a Lecturer at the University of Leicester, U.K. His current research interests include information theory, wireless communications, IoT, cognitive radio, secrecy communication and random geometric networks.
