  • Receive one-to-one advice on which course might be best for you
  • Discover how you can get classroom experience
  • Get tips on preparing your application and insights into what we look for on selection days
  • Talk to current and former students about their experience of training and what life as a new teacher is really like

Routes into Teaching events include a presentation which gives a general introduction to the Leicester PGCE, the different study routes and helpful tips on applying.

Maths Workshop for trainee teachers
Are you considering a career as a teacher? Come to a Maths Help Centre workshop to support the QTS numeracy test.
This workshop is for students studying non-numerate degrees who are intending to apply for teacher training and have concerns about the QTS Numeracy test.

When: 1.30pm - 3.00pm Wed 14 November
Where: University of Leicester, Charles Wilson Building Fourth Floor SR 411 Quorn
How to book: There is no need to book, just turn up
