This practical session will address Physics objectives in the Primary National Curriculum and support teachers with both subject knowledge and ideas for assessment opportunities. There will also be the opportunity to consider the big ideas in science and the importance of providing a context for children's learning. While mainly focussing on KS2, there will be time to consider how to develop physics understanding and enquiry skills in KS1.
