This session will initially look at the teaching of radioactivity and the practical ways in which the topic can be taught.

This will be followed by a carefully chosen selection of practical activities which will help you develop a better understanding of background radiation, cloud chambers, properties of alpha, beta, and gamma radiation, half-life decay and the applications of radioactivity.

There will also be an opportunity to look at strategies for teaching the topic in schools that have limited practical equipment.

As an introductory offer - book all four Physics twilight sessions before 15th November 2017 and you will receive one session free, a cost of £195 saving £65
