Numbers to 100

The range of numbers 1 to 100 is crucial in building a child's understanding of place value and their fluency in mental arithmetic.

You will look at and try out activities that help children estimate quantities up to one hundred and build their knowledge of number bonds. You will also have the opportunity to try out games and create simple equipment that children will enjoy using.

The workshop will examine links between different ways of calculating with numbers within 100, including practical, mental and paper & pencil methods.

Included in the course is a free pack of one to one hundred cards and other useful materials to take away and use in class.
