Learning Outside the Classroom: Numeracy, Literacy & Science

This course will look at many parts of the core curriculum subjects and find how many aspects can be taught outside. The day will be practical and hands-on with the opportunity to try out many activities. Although hosted at the Botanic Garden, the focus will be mostly on transferable ideas to school settings.

The day will be divided into two with Key Stage 2 in the morning and Key Stage 1 in the afternoon.  Participants can chose to book either for a full or half day, depending on curriculum responsibilities.

Join us for a full day or half day session - Key Stage 2 only starts at 9.30am and Key Stage 1 only starts at 1.00pm.
