Rui Luo, PhD student and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the School of Business has recently had his job market paper published by

’Skill Premium and Technological Change in the very Long Run: 1300-1914’’ looks at the impact of modern technological change on the skill premium.

One policy implication of my study is that physical capital accumulation such as infrastructure development could possibly help contemporary developing countries reduce poverty and inequality.

The paper has also been cited by Media Briefings of the Royal Economic Society.
