Beyond the Viva Exam - Final Submission and Award

Students at GraduationDepositing the final version of your thesis is the last stage of your degree
If you have been awarded your degree without amendments being needed, or you have made any amendments needed and your internal examiner has confirmed these have been completed satisfactorily, you need to prepare and deposit the final version of your thesis. You should do this as soon as possible and within twenty-eight days of your research degree being awarded.
Study Guide Contents Checklist for Final Submission
  1. Complete the viva voce examination and any amendments required by your examiners
  2. Prepare the final approved version of your thesis
  3. Complete the Deposit of Final Version Form
  4. Deposit one hard-bound printed version of your thesis with the University Library
  5. Deposit one electronic version of your thesis with the Leicester Research Archive
