Work Experience - Internships and Placements for Research Students

We offer a number of internal and external interships and placements exclusively for research students to help you gain work experience and develop your professional networks.

Internship and placement opportunities are advertised as they become available and individual adverts include post requirements and advice on how to apply.

Internships and placements can be undertaken at any stage of the research degree programme, though it is suggested that research students avoid the first and final year of the programme. Research students require the approval of their supervisory team to undertake an internship or placement.

Please see list of available internships below.

If you are interested in applying for an internship please use our standardised application form.
