Biography

Satty joined the Department in October 2005. Along with her colleague Luke Gamble, Satty is the first point of contact for students undertaking the BA Criminology. She is also responsible for provide adminstrative support on the LLB Law and Criminology. Satty is responsibile for students from registration through to graduation.

Satty previously worked in the University's School of Psychology (Occupational Section). Satty has gained a PgD in Computing and LLB (Hons) with Finance.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Student progress issues
  • Maintaining student records
  • Assignment handling
  • Dealing with Mitigating Circumstances Requests
  • Collating marks for verification at Panel and Exam Boards
  • Arrange deferrals, suspensions and withdrawals 
  • Deals with Attendance Monitoring
  • Is the College CMIS Super-User and deals with timetabling course events
