Biography

Luke joined the department in March 2015. Along with his colleague Satty Hullait, Luke is the first point of contact for students undertaking the BA Criminology. Luke has administrative responsibility for students from registration through to graduation.

Luke previously worked at the University’s School of Education and initially assisted with the administration of campus based CPD programmes before taking over the administration of a large postgraduate distance learning programme from 2009 to 2015.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Student progress issues
  • Maintaining student records
  • Assignment submission
  • Marking and extension requests
  • Collating marks for verification at Exam Boards
  • Arranges deferrals and suspensions
  • Database key user for the Admin team
  • Member of the Campus-Based Committee
