Colin Peacock

Colin PeacockColin is the Group Strategy Coordinator for the ECR Community Shrinkage and On Shelf Availability Group. He holds a similar post in America with the Retailers Industry Leaders Association (RILA) Asset Protection Leaders Council.

Prior to these appointments, Colin had a thirty-year career at 'Gillette' and 'Procter and Gamble' where, in his last fifteen years, he held responsibility for the global leadership of their on-shelf availability, brand protection and shrink prevention capability. In this role, he was responsible for

  • delivering new thief, counterfeiter, shopper and store manager research
  • a pipeline of new interventions, including RFID and 3D stickers for anti-counterfeit
  • the oversight and delivery of 100+ successful collaborative “sell more, lose less” profit improvement projects with P&G’s major customers and distributors around the world

Colin has published on the subject of loss prevention in the academic and trade press. He is a regular speaker at conferences around the world.

Scarman Lecture 2018

We are pleased to announce Phil Scraton, Professor Emeritus from Queens Belfast University will be our keynote speaker at this year's Scarman Lecture.

His talk is entitled:-

‘Fractured Lives, Dissenting Voices, Recovering Truth'
