Chemical Biology

Chemical Biology

Chemical biology involves the use of chemical tools and ideas to investigate biological systems. In the University of Leicester Centre for Chemical Biology, we use a variety of techniques including computational modelling, novel chemical synthesis and new spectroscopic methods to manipulate biomolecular structures and function, and provide insights into the cause of Alzheimer's disease and cancer.
