Research Interest

My research work involves exploring and integrating diverse resources of large patient cohorts - comprising of anthropometric, clinical, genetic and multi-omics data - to develop predictive models with the aim to evaluate the risk of coronary artery disease and other cardiovascular diseases. My current involvement in the EU FP7 programme BIOSTAT-CHF (BIOlogy Study to TAilored Treatment in Chronic Heart Failure) and the UK BioBank have strong emphases on analyses of high-dimensional multi-source, multi-omics data applying novel statistical methods

Statistical Consultancy

I also provide statistical consultancy support to other research groups in cardiovascular sciences broadly encompassing development and application of statistical models in health, epidemiology, genetics and allied areas.

Teaching and Training

I undertake teaching and training programs including supervision of MSc and PhD students. I provide a range of R courses for the University staff and Doctoral students.
