"Putting Labour in its Place": New Book From Centre Members

Putting Labour in its PlaceCentre members Dr Kirsty Newsome and Professor Phil Taylor, along with Professor Jennifer Bair and Professor Al Rainnie, have recently edited a new collection of papers on labour process analysis and global value chains.

"Putting Labour in its Place: Labour Process Analysis and Global Value Chains" is part of the Comparative Work and Employment Relations series. Comprising of papers written by leading researchers, the collection looks at the relationships between labour process and labour process theory, and global value chains and global production networks.

Chapter authors include centre member Dr Nik Hammer as well as Dr Jean Jenkins, Senior Lecturer in Employment Relations at Cardiff University, who recently joined Dr Kirsty Newsome, Professor Phil Taylor and Dr Nik Hammer in speaking at the CSWEF conference on Labour, Global Value Chains and the Re-Shoring of Work and Employment.

"Putting Labour in its Place: Labour Process Analysis and Global Value Chains" is published by Palgrave Macmillan and is available to purchase on their website.
