Waseem completed his undergraduate degree in Business Economics at the University of Leicester in. He is currently undertaking his PhD at the School of Management University of Leicester (part-time), whilst also working as a Project Manager at Health Education East Midlands.



Waseem’s research interests include well-being, human factors in healthcare, structural violence and development.

He is currently investigating the systemic barriers leading to poor care for frail older people in care homes and their impact on staff and patient well-being.
