Personal details

I have taught as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Operations and Supply Chain Management for multiple universities. I have also served in many leadership capacities for community volunteer programmes. Prior to my PhD, I worked in global supply chain management at ExxonMobil. My US educational background includes a Masters in Operations Management, an MBA, and a dual-degree BSc in Finance and Supply Chain Management.

My research is at the intersection of supply chain risk and corporate social responsibility (CSR).

My research projects include:

  • An econometric study on the historical significance of supply chain vulnerabilities.
  • A quantitative, game-theoretic analysis for preventing forced labour in corporate supply chains
  • Building an enhanced framework for understanding critical supply chain risks.
  • A qualitative assessment of research gaps in humanitarian logistics (published in the Journal of Applied Business and Economics, 2016).
