Personal details

I hold a BA in Sociology from St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata, India. My growing interest in the Sociology of Work influenced me to pursue a MSc in Human Resource Management at the University of Sheffield in 2014-2015.

In 2017, I began my PhD degree at the University of Leicester. I currently work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Leicester School of Business.

Prior to my PhD, I worked as a Research Assistant in a two-year ethnographic study based in India.

Research

My proposed research focuses on defining varied nuances of co-working spaces and its impact on how one perceives work.

In parallel to this, I am interested in topics related to: work from home, time and work, ethnographic and other qualitative research methods.
