My previous appointments include Senior Industry Economist at Oxford Economic Forecasting Limited and Visiting Fellow in PSERC at this University. I have also served as a consultant to a number of organisations including the European Parliament, European Commission and the Department of the Environment, Transport and Regions.

I have extensive research and consultancy experience, specialising in the areas of data analysis and forecasting. I have also written articles and reports on regional development, European integration and economic forecasting. My current research interests include economic modelling, public sector efficiency, teamworking and performance, high performance work systems, board/ownership structure and corporate performance, voluntary sector performance and management.
