Supervision
Models for predicting corporate failure. Following on from the work of Beaver and Altman of over 30 years ago do their research findings still hold - or are other indicators more relevant today.
Asset replacement decisions. Should a company replace assets frequently, incurring high capital costs but benefiting from good trade in values and low maintenance costs, or keep asses as long as possible. This is a very important decision for companies involved in the transport sector.
