I am a Lecturer in Economics and I joined the University of Leicester in June 2014. I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Warwick and before joining Leicester I was a Lecturer in the School of Business at the University of Edinburgh.

My main research interests lie in the area of Political Economy, and its applications to areas such as Corporate Governance and Mechanism Design. I have published my work in Economic Theory and the Canadian Journal of Economics. The latest projects I am involved are in the area of populism and the credibility of democratic institutions. You can find more details in my CV - Dr Aris Boukouras CV
