Supporting micro-businesses – from coping strategies to assisting with the rebuilding effort

A national programme of support to help small businesses adopt digital technologies has gone into a new phase delivering 1:1 mentoring support.

Launched in February, the Leading to Grow programme encourages UK registered micro-businesses to harness digital tools.

There are digital tools for every part of your business model, not just for social media. Some of the best digital tools are tailored to your sector/customers and provide functionality across your business model: organising your team, looking after the client, sorting the bookkeeping and making sure you get paid.

In the original workshops at the University of Leicester we built with the participants a comprehensive list of useful tools mapped to every part of your business model. You can access this list here after completing a short survey: https://ulsm.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0e6FREb83or2D7T

We are currently reaching out to all micro-businesses who originally contacted us about the workshops to offer the expert one to one support to help you to move forward with your adoption of digital business tools and assist you to meet the challenges of operating during the Covid19 crisis.

This free support is offered through the University of Leicester School of Business and the Leicester Innovation Hub as part of a consortium of UK business schools led by CABS. It is funded by the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy.

We’re really looking forward to resuming the conversations!
