Researching viable and possible futures

The CALF (Creating Academic Learning Futures) project, funded by the Higher Education Academy National Teaching Fellowship Scheme (NTFS), is a collaborative research project that aims to create, explore and present for discussion a variety of plausible ‘alternative futures’ for learning and teaching methods in higher education.

Creating Academic Learning Futures CALF will create, explore and present for discussion a variety of plausible ‘alternative futures’ for learning and teaching methods in HE. These scenarios for the future will be grounded and context specific. Frequent and regular briefings of interest to managers and university teachers will be provided, based on the ‘student voices’.

The CALF project is led by University College Falmouth, on which the research is supported by the University of Leicester. CALF includes staff and students from both institutions, two National Teaching Fellows from the University of Leicester, Creative Partnerships, international organisations, and research and technology partners.
