Terese Bird and Tracey Dodman presented Making the Most of Mobile for Learning at the University of Leicester Learning and Teaching Conference, 10 January 2013. At the heart of this presentation were initial findings of evaluation of the use of iPads in the Criminology MSc in Security, Conflict, and International Development.

At the MobiLearnAsia 2012 Conference, on 25 October 2012, Terese Bird presented Embedded E-books and E-readers in Distance Learning, which compares the current use of iPads in the Criminology Masters in Security, Conflict, and International Development course with the use of simple e-book readers in two distance masters programmes, in Psychology and Education, as part of the DUCKLING project 2008-2010.


Terese Bird presented 'Mummies, War Zones, and Pompeii: the use of tablet computers in situated and on-the-go learning' at the ALT-C Conference in Manchester, 12 September 2012, and also in the MobiLearnAsia 2012 Conference in Singapore on 24 October 2012.
