Social networking and Web 2.0 technologies offer unexpected learning, collaboration, research, and dissemination methods.

Points to consider:

  • If your students are familiar with these arenas, what new e-literacy skills might they be bringing to their learning in your course?

  • What key features of these e-encounters might offer clues to enhancing your learning and teaching, helping students with topics they find difficult or enhancing their engagement and collaboration?
