Social media are not just for socialising anymore; they are excellent platforms for collaborative learning, enabling far-reaching networking and dissemination of knowledge. This course will help you choose a social media strategy to meet your teaching and dissemination goals.

Is this course for you?

The course is for those who would like to make the best use of social media such as blogs, Twitter, Facebook, Scoop.it, LinkedIn, Flickr, and YouTube. This course would benefit trainers and educators who would like guidance to use social media in teaching. Whilst the context of the course is academic, it can be tailored to meet corporate requirements. The course will demonstrate the approach and techniques being taught. Participants will have a chance to create accounts to practice their learning and will leave the course with a social media strategy in place.

How long is the course? Half day

How is it studied? Face to face or online

Do you get a qualification? The course is not assessed and will not count towards a qualification.
