27 October 2018 - The workshop, designed for 11-18 year olds and based on the work of Evelyn Waugh, will feature fun flash fiction writing as well as a chance to read and learn more about this important 20th Century writer.

Overview

The Complete Works of Evelyn Waugh project, in collaboration with Writing East Midlands, is pleased to offer this free, creative writing workshop to young aspiring writers, and will be delivered by Divya Ghelani.

Divya Ghelani holds an MA in Creative Writing and an MPhil in Literary Studies from the University of Hong Kong. In 2016 she won a Word Factory apprenticeship and is now Programme Associate. She has published widely and her novel-in-progress has been longlisted and shortlisted for four literary awards. She is working on 'Typewritten Tales', an oral history project concerning the strike at Imperial Typewriter Co. in Leicester.
