JOFRI Board Meeting
The Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Forensic Radiology and Imaging (JOFRI) will be holding a closed editorial meeting on Thursday 14th May before the conference commences. If you are a member of the editorial board you will receive an invite direct from JOFRI.
Final Deadline for Conference bookings

The final deadlines for conference bookings are as follows:

  • Bookings for the conference social events close on the 13th April.
  • Conference registration closes on the 30th April.

(If you would like to attend any of the social events being held, please ensure you register for the conference before the closing date - These events will not be available to book after April 13th).

Poster Abstract Submission Deadline

The poster abstract submission deadline has been extended to 31st March 2015.

Early Bird Bookings Extended

Paediatric Sub-Meeting
A Paediatric Sub-meeting is being held on Friday 15th May. If you would like to attend this part of the conference you can do so by registering for the full conference or you can book to attend for the day.

Call for Posters
We are still accepting abstracts for poster entries for the conference. We would encourage all attendees to the conference to consider submitting a poster. The poster competition is being sponsored by Elsevier and there will be a prize presented for the best poster.

Final Keynote Speaker Announced
We are pleased to confirm that Dr Paul Hofman from the Department of Radiology at Maastricht University Medical Center will be giving a keynote speech at the 2015 Congress.

The congress will hold six informative talks on “Who” and “Forensic Radiology” by international experts, confirmed speakers are:

Elsevier Publishing House will be holding a one-hour sub-seminar on “How to get published”

Blackboard

The congress will be using the application Blackboard to keep delegates up to date with all the latest information. Please ensure you bring a wifi compatible device with you to the meeting to make the most of this application.

Meeting: Future of Forensic Imaging

The ISFRI will be inviting the leads from country-based imaging groups to meet and discuss with the board future forensic imaging developments, this event will be held on Wednesday 13th May.

Fumedica: Sub-meeting announced

The ISFRI/IAFR are pleased to announce that Fumedica will be hosting a half day sub-meeting on Thursday 14th May. Fumedica half day programme.

Publishing Workshop

Publishing House Elsevier are offering a free one-hour workshop on 'How to get published' at the ISFRI/IAFR 2015 conference.

The session will include: how to write a paper, what editors expect from a paper, and tips and tricks to writing a good paper.
