AHS 2014 FINAL PAPER SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Final camera-ready papers due: 2nd June 2014

Thank you for your contribution to AHS-2014. Please follow the instructions below to prepare and submit your camera-ready papers.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

All papers must be in English, and submitted in PDF format through the web page. Please comply with the following guidelines.  In certain cases, non-compliance may lead to paper rejection. Additional details can be found in the paper template (please use one of the A4 paper size templates).

  • Please include in the final manuscript any recommendations received from reviewers as a result of the review phase. These recommendations must not alter the paper fundamentals.
  • The final paper should not exceed eight pages, including figures and references.

Each paper is required to have at least one full registration from one of the authors by 17 June 2014.

BEFORE CREATING A PDF

  1. Please add the copyright notice to the bottom of the first page of your source document as follows:
  • For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright
  • For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is: 978-1-4799-5356-1/14/$31.00 ©2014 Crown
  • For all other papers the copyright notice is: 978-1-4799-5356-1/14/$31.00 ©2014 IEEE

  2.   Proofread your source document thoroughly to confirm that it will require no revision.

PDF PREPARATION

The pdf file should be prepared using the following guidelines:

  • PDF version 1.4 or higher (Acrobat 5.x compatible)
  • Any file security should not be set on any files.
  • ALL fonts must be accurately included in the PDF file as an "Embedded Subset."
  • Avoid the usage of non-English fonts, especially Asian fonts.

AHS-2014 requires compliance with IEEE PDF eXpress™ Plus :
IEEE PDF eXpress Plus is a free service to IEEE conferences, allowing their authors to make IEEE Xplore-compatible PDFs (conversion function) or to check PDFs that authors have made themselves for IEEE Xplore compatibility (PDF Check function).

Login to the IEEE PDF eXpress Plus site:

First-time users should do the following:

  1. Select the New Users - Click Here link.
  2. Enter the following:
    • 33639XP for the Conference ID
    • your email address
    • a password

  3.   Continue to enter information as prompted.

Online and email confirmation will be sent verifying your account was setup

Previous users of PDF eXpress Plus need to follow the above steps, but should enter the same password that was used for previous conferences. Verify that your contact information is valid.

Once the account for the AHS-2014 conference is created, you may log in at the IEEE PDF eXpress plus site without selecting the New Users link.

PAPER SUBMISSION

Submit the IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF of your paper using the same paper ID and password you used to upload your original submission by following this link: https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ahs2014
In case you cannot remember your existing password, you can reset your password through the above link. 

The deadline for your final camera-ready submission is 2 June 2014!!

COPYRIGHT FORM

In order to publish your paper we need a signed IEEE Copyright Transfer Form from you. This form is available here in Word  and  PDF  format. If you want to submit this form electronically, please fill out and sign the form, then scan it into a PDF file, and e-mail it to ahs2014@le.ac.uk . Alternatively you may fax the form to the following number: +44 116 252 2619, or post it to us using this address:
