This research centre incorporates the social and physical world-leading scientific research within the College of Science and Engineering to create a multidisciplinary understanding of the causes and consequences of, and future responses to, environmental change.

ACE researchers are able to collaborate with academics and other research centres within the University that specialize in different areas that can be applied to the theories of climate change.

The College of Science and Engineering includes the departments of: Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Geography, Geology, Mathematics, Physics and Astronomy. Knowledge of these subjects and collaboration with academics in these areas is essential in the research of climate change and environmental adaptation science.
