Postgraduate Taught

Postgraduate Taught degrees have a set amount of contact time with the provider of the course, taking the form of seminars, tutorials and lectures. Taught programmes lead to the award of postgraduate diplomas, certificates, and Master's Degrees. These degrees normally last for one full academic year in full time study.

Master's degree courses provide integrated programmes of taught elements followed by a research project carried out under the supervision of academic staff. Projects range from laboratory-based research, sometimes abroad orin industry, to work-related professional development for clinicians and psychologists.

Several courses offer flexible study routes via part-time and distance learning options and all significantly enhance the career prospects of students. Taught postgraduate courses leading to Diploma and Master's qualifications are available.
