BEN Black Environment Network, The Ethnic Minorities Award Scheme for Environmental Projects

Small grants are available to schools, community groups and individuals undertaking projects, which concern the environment and involve people from ethnic communities. Grants are for innovative projects, which do not fit into the grant categories of other larger environmental grant schemes. Find out more

British Society for Plant Pathology, BSPP Plant Pathology Promotion Fund

BSPP wishes to promote an understanding and awareness of the importance of plant pathology to a wider audience than its membership. To that end, it has established a fund for the promotion of plant pathology, with the aim of stimulating interest in, and knowledge and awareness of, plant pathology to people who do not normally come into contact with the subject. Economic and Social Research Council, Knowledge Exchange Opportunities Scheme

The scheme provides the opportunity to apply for funding for knowledge exchange activities (this includes public engagement) at any stage of the research lifecycle, and is aimed at maximising the impact of social science research outside academia. Find out more

Royal Society of Chemistry, Event Grants

  • Funding available: Up to £500
  • Closing Date: On-Going

The RSC awards grants of up to £100 per academic year to help Student Chemical Societies stage an event that will benefit/promote chemistry and/or promote the RSC and the Student Chemical Society and help recruit new members. Student Chemical Societies can also bid for extra grants of up to £500 to stage a larger event. Find out more

Science Wise Expert Resource Centre

  • Funding available: 50% of the total project costs
  • Closing Date: On-Going

Projects are commissioned directly with policy makers in line with priority areas for engagement in science and technology. Funding can be given to Government departments, agencies and Executive Non Departmental Public Bodies (providing there is support from a central Government department). Find out more
