Bespoke Projects

Any type of analysis not listed by the Proteomics Facility standard services including (but not limited to):

1. Identifications of proteins or PTMs from complex mixtures requiring sample fractionation;
2. Protein or peptide quantitation by Label free, Reporter-ion, SRM or SILAC techniques;
3. Protein Crosslinking studies;
4. Projects containing large numbers of samples or replicates.

These types of study can vary widely in their scope, and the facility will work closely with the Principle Investigator at the outset of the project to arrange an agreeable schedule of work. It will be agreed what experimental work and analysis should be achievable, who from PNACL and the researcher will commit staff time and what milestones and timetable is reasonable. These objectives will be revised and documented by each party at regular intervals.
