Internship at Lamport Hall

This internship has been created by the Lamport Hall Preservation Trust to assist a student at the University of Leicester reading for one of the MA programmes offered by the Department of History both financially and to give them experience working in an historic house on a country estate.

PhD funding for UK/EU students

History at Leicester is seeking expressions of interest from prospective research students in the 2018 AHRC Doctoral Training Partnership. The Midlands3Cities Doctoral Training Partnership is awarding up to 80 Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) PhD studentships for UK/EU applicants for October 2018 entry.

Your application will be strongly enhanced if you engage in discussion with us well in advance of the deadline and attend the M3C Application Writing workshop at Leicester on 18 November (view details, or book a place)
