New article in Neuron showing human neural responses to ambiguous faces.

Working with neurons in the medial temporal lobe (MTL) we used ambiguous images, morphs between the faces of two familiar individuals, to study how single neurons in the MTL respond to the same images eliciting different precepts. The results show that MTL neurons follow subjective perception rather than the visual features of the stimulus.
