Internet Explorer 7 is currently the default browser installed on University PCs, however some users may try to edit Plone pages from home or on a laptop where Internet Explorer has been updated to version 9. When using Internet Explorer 9 it is important to ensure that compatibility mode is turned on before attempting to edit a page. The quickest way to turn on the compatibility mode is by pressing the small icon (highlighted below) at the end of the address bar. When compatibility mode is turned on this icon will turn blue.

If compatibility mode is not turned on then no content will be visible whilst attempting to edit a page.
