National Science and Engineering Week (NSEW)

9-18 March 2012

National Science and Engineering Week is an annual event organised in conjunction with the British Science Association, which aims to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers, and show how the broad subjects continually relate to our everyday lives.

This year the event has adopted the theme ‘Our World in Motion’ which the University is exploring through a range of events. From a BBC1 Frozen Planet inspired Masterclass on ice and glaciers through to an interactive public workshop on 'Maths and Magic' we hope there will be something that interests everyone.

For details of what events are taking place please see the schedule below. If you have questions or have a suggestion for an activity you would like to see please do contact us.
