I find the lectures for my course help me to understand the topics and point me in the right direction for further reading. The seminars are really useful in giving you time to discuss your understanding of topics with the lecturers and fellow students. You can talk about the issues and gain helpful insights. All the staff are approachable and I feel for my course I have the correct amount of seminars and lectures a week.

The University is very friendly and a place of true diversity. The support network the University has is tremendous and now due to the developments it has created key areas to socialise and bring students together, making the University a vibrant place to study. The University Library has made me focus more on my studies as it provides me with easy access to numerous resources as well as guidance in finding materials. There is always someone to help you in your studies whether it is a librarian or someone from my course. I think the best thing about campus is its size and the fact that it is separate from the accommodation, which I feel divides the ‘work’ and ‘play’ elements of university life.

Leicester is a great city to live in, it offers a wide variety of shops which I found very appealing. The nightlife is full of variety and offers a huge number of different student nights and themes. The thing that surprised me most about Leicester is the array of bars and clubs there are. I am still discovering more!

I would describe my time at the University of Leicester as unforgettable. I constantly enjoy myself and cannot believe I am in my second year already. I would definitely recommend the University of Leicester to any new students.
