The Department of the History of Art and Film is pleased to offer two bursaries for October 2012 entry to the Masters in The Country House in Art, History, and Literature programme. The bursaries are each worth £1,000 payable as a reduction in the course fee.
The Country House Masters
The MA in The Country House in Art, History, and Literature provides an interesting and wide-ranging introduction to the complex and changing position of the country house in its local, regional and national environment.
The course will be of general interest to those working, or intending to work, in the Heritage Industry, Museums, Auction Houses, or in Tourism. It will also be ideally suited to graduates in subjects such as History of Art and Architecture, Social and Economic History, or English Literature, and those who intend to undertake doctoral research on some aspect of the country house.

The bursaries are open to suitable UK/EU and international (i.e., outside the EU) applicants.
The bursaries are for full-time study only and applicants must be able to commence their studies in October 2012.
