Santander Scholarships for taught Master's programmes beginning in October 2012

Scholarship details

• Available for all one-year, full-time taught Master’s programmes to students from any of Santander Universities’ 11 countries (see below) beginning in October 2012
• Deadline for applications: 1 June 2012

Awards

• Successful candidates from Latin America will receive an award of GBP 5,000
• Successful candidates from Spain and Portugal will receive an award of up to GBP 5,000 (the maximum award will be equivalent to the full course fees for the programme)
• Santander Scholarships are awarded in the form of a reduction in tuition fees payable.

Eligibility

Candidates must:

1. Have been made an offer of admission to a one-year, full-time Master’s programme beginning in October 2012 at the University of Leicester by the closing date for the scholarships. This offer can be unconditional or conditional but the scholarship will not be confirmed until the conditions are met.
2. Be a national of one of the following Santander network countries:

3. Preferably be a graduate of, or be expecting to graduate from, any of the Santander network universities listed on the following web sites:

• Santander - Latin America
• Santander - Spain
• Santander - Portugal

Candidates must not be in receipt of a full scholarship (tuition fees and living costs) from any other sources. Students with partial scholarships from other sources will be considered.

Students may only hold either a University of Leicester Open Scholarship, other University of Leicester Scholarship (College or Departmental) or a Santander Scholarship (whichever is the highest value).
